Business tour
It all starts with a visit. Teams step onto the production floor, see the workflow first-hand and talk directly to the people running it. The enterprise opens up its systems and points out exactly where automation is needed.

Bridge the gap between real-world industry problems and rapid tech execution. Catalyst is Startup Fest's flagship industry program. Teams step inside the factory floor, see the systems first-hand, and work alongside mentor experts: existing startups apply their product to a real problem, while new teams build an MVP from scratch — then pitch directly to the decision makers, with a pilot possible right there on the spot. On the other side, we go into the enterprises ourselves. We study the production workflow and map out where automation, integration or process improvement would make the biggest difference. Only then do we design the format — built individually around each partner and the problem they actually need solved.
Catalyst runs in four stages. With each one, the team gets closer to the problem — first seeing it first-hand, then handing the solution to the person who owns it.

It all starts with a visit. Teams step onto the production floor, see the workflow first-hand and talk directly to the people running it. The enterprise opens up its systems and points out exactly where automation is needed.
Teams leave the tour with a real brief, not an invented task. Which step loses time, which process is still manual, where integration is missing — it all gets written down and handed over as a problem statement.
Teams work alongside mentor experts. Existing startups apply their product to the real problem; new teams build an MVP from scratch. One-on-one support on both the technical and business side.
The final pitch goes straight to the decision makers. The strongest solutions continue as a pilot with the enterprise — the work doesn't end with a presentation.
Together with industrial enterprises and technology companies we solve real problems — every partnership is a new opportunity for teams and a route to a finished product.

Imzo opened up its production process to the teams — it showed exactly which steps needed automation, and the teams worked on precisely those problems.

Yandex Uzbekistan opened up its focus areas to the teams — it showed where it was looking for technology solutions, and the teams presented their products directly to the company's own team.

Hududgaztaminot opened up the real challenges in its gas supply system to startups — from metering losses to customer communication and workforce management. The strongest solutions are tested inside the company as pilots, and a successful pilot turns into a paid contract.
